Ok, so it’s been over a month since I’ve last posted anything on here. I’ve been much busier than I’m used to lately. There’s been a lot more going on at work than normal, and it’s led to a lot of late nights and extra work on the weekends… and drinking.

Well, not that much.
All of the work is really starting to pay off though. I’m learning a ton about the magazine production process and have been spending a ton of time working on some migration work for several systems.
We had a new Web Developer, Cameron Moore, start a couple of weeks ago, who replaced the dude who vanished in to thin air. Seriously, the guy pretty much disappeared and cut off all communication between himself and everyone he worked with. My favorite MySQL book disappeared with him too. Oh well, it was all for the best it seems. Cameron is doing a hell of a job so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing some of his work begin to materialize in the next couple of weeks.
With some luck, coworkers won’t be snapping any more photos of me on early morning trains back to the Island much longer.

Oh, and fuck Thai food. And Salmonella. That shit sucks. I did lose 8lbs though.
I also finally managed to get my high school graduating class’ 10-year reunion site up today. It isn’t really that complicated or anything, it just kept getting pushed to the bottom of the to-do list with everything else going on. I have plans for the site, and should have the time to do some more work on it soon. Last night’s late night work also got Mandi Norwood’s new blog started as well. The blog is to accompany Michelle Style, a book about the First Lady’s fashion, out May 5th. I didn’t do any design work for it or anything, just got the blog itself established.
Gotta keep my priorities straight though – next weekend is nothing but work on this blog and some Ledouche screens…
Shit. I need some sun.
