Toots & The Maytals are playing over at B.B. King’s in Times Square in just over two weeks! I may have missed out on grabbing tickets for 311‘s show in the city this summer, but all of these other shows are totally making up for it.
It’ll be a real treat to see Monkey Man performed by the original artist for a change. That song has been covered to death, but it never seems to get old, even though it was first released 40 years ago!
The show will be opened up by one of Jamaica’s premier reggae stars, Eek-a-Mouse. I can’t think of a better show to lead up to The Wailers’ show later this summer.
