This is turning out to be one hell of a winter. First there was the holiday blizzard, a few smaller snow storms, and last night’s storm which has left the area in a fresh, thick blanket of white powder. New York City schools are closed (even with NYS Regents exams taking place today), which is a rare occurrence, and non-essential city staff are off as well. According to the National Weather Service, this storm broke an 86 year old record…
