Aggregatus is a PHP script that stores Twitter statuses from an unlimited number of accounts in a database, and displays them as you wish by way of output templates. It is currently in use on Latina Magazine‘s website and will be made available to the public once a 1.0 release is reached.
From Latin aggregatus, perfect passive participle of aggrego (“I flock together”), from ag-, combining form of ad (“to, toward”), + grego (“I flock or group”), from grex (“flock”).
Birds, Twitter; Shit makes sense, right?
Aggregatus makes use of RSRV, a SimpleXML caching PHP class, to keep requests to Twitter at a minimum.
